Logo for FILTER—a platform for international contemporary art running between Detroit and Hamburg. The FILTER Detroit residency hosts 3-4 European artists each year that live along with 2 permanent house residents. The goal of the project is to share European and American ideologies.

Since 2010 Filter has hosted around 30 artists, including architects, film makers, designers, visual artists, musicians and urban researchers all collaborating with local Detroit artists and institutions.
